Bollywood's bad man Gulshan Grover is set to appear in Iran-India joint venture ‘The Devil’s Daughter’.
According to a Wednesday media report, famed Indian star Grover mostly appearing in sinister film characters will join the cast of Iranian director Ghorban Mohammadpour’s new offering.
The flick being in the shooting stage had 30 percent progress, another report said Monday, adding Mohammadpour’s flick has both Iran and Indian artists in the cast.
Other Bollywood stars confirmed to star in the film include Jackie Shroff and Esha Gupta.
Iran famed actor Hamid Farokh-Nejad also plays a leading role in the flick.
Ghorban Mohammadpour’s second project in India comes as his maiden attempt ‘Salaam Mumbai’ grabbed a great deal of attention in India as well as becoming a box-office hit in Iran.
Gupta who plays the title role in ‘The Devil’s Daughter’ was quoted by media as saying, “I’m honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with a director like Ghorban Mohammadpour."
She adds, “I’ve admired his films and now I get to work with him. This is surreal. It’s such privilege to be part of the Iranian film industry.”
